CONTEST WILL BEGIN AT 9:00 AM ON May 28, 2019, AND WILL END AT 11:59 PM ON June 28, 2019 (“CONTEST PERIOD”). ALL TIMES REFERRED TO IN THESE OFFICIAL RULES ARE CENTRAL DAYLIGHT TIME (CDT).
How to Enter:
Entrants and Winners must be registered partners of Money Smart Week prior to 11:59 PM ON June 28.Entrants and Winner must be 21 years of age or older at time of entry. Entrants and Winner must be legal U.S. residents. Odds of winning depend on number of entries received.
There is only one way to enter the Bright Ideas Contest (the “Contest”):
Online Entry: To enter online, log onto http://www.moneysmartweek.org/bright_ideas, or find a link to the Contest on http://www.moneysmartweek.org. Click on the Contest link and complete the online Bright Ideas Contest entry form; once all the questions have been answered, entrants will be directed to submit the online entry form. ENTRANTS MUST ANSWER ALL QUESTIONS TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR A PRIZE. The entry form will ask individuals to verify that they are at least 21 years of age at time of entry. Each entrant agrees to the terms contained on the Money Smart Week website which can be found at (http://www.moneysmartweek.org/terms).
No mail-in entry forms will be accepted.
ONLY ONE ENTRY IS PERMITTED PER REGISTERED MONEY SMART WEEK PARTNER DURING THE CONTEST PERIOD.
MULTIPLE ENTRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Contest entries are checked regularly to ensure that entrants are not violating this rule. In the event an entrant is found to have submitted more than one entry during the Contest Period, the Administrator will disqualify any and all entries submitted by that entrant for the Contest. The Administrator reserves the right to disqualify entries for the violation mentioned above without any obligation to notify the entrants of their disqualification.
Incomplete entries will be disqualified.
The Contest is open to registered Money Smart Week partners who are twenty-one (21) years of age or older at time of entry. Entrants and Winner must be legal U.S. residents.
Employees of the Administrator or directors, officers, representatives, agents, and employees of any of their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, consultants, promotion or advertising agencies or any other company involved with the design, production, execution or distribution of the Contest and immediate families and household members of each of the foregoing are ineligible to enter. “Household member” shall mean people who share the same residence at least three (3) months a year.
Selection of the Winner:
To be eligible for the prize, online entries must be received before 11:59 PM on June 28, 2019.
Only one entry is permitted per “MSW” registered partner.
At the close of the Contest Period, one (1) entry will be selected from among all eligible entries to win the Contest Prize . The Administrator will determine the Winner based on a number or criteria including: program attendance and other marketplace results; program’s ease of replication, defined by resources and lead-times required to successfully execute; the creativity of the program concept. Contest participant agrees that the Administrator’s decisions related to the Bright Ideas Contest are final. . A representative of Administrator will contact the Winner based on information provided on the submitted entry. If the Administrator is unable to contact Winner from the information provided after a reasonable effort has been made, it reserves the right to select another Winner at its sole discretion. All decisions of the Administrator are final and binding on all matters relating to the drawing and the Contest generally. Prizes are non-transferable.
Only one (1) Prize in the amount of Two Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($250.00) (US Dollars) will be awarded for the duration of the Contest.
By entering, entrants agree to be bound by and acknowledge compliance with these Official Rules including, without limitation, eligibility requirements and the decisions of the Administrator. Failure to comply with these Official Rules will result in disqualification. Taxes on prizes, if any, are the sole responsibility of Winner.
By entering the Contest, each entrant waives any and all claims of liability against the Administrator and its respective officers, directors, stockholders, affiliates, agents, employees, advertising agencies, representatives, and all others associated with the development and execution of the Contest.
Non-compliance with these Official Rules, or return of the Contest notification as undeliverable will result in that Winner’s disqualification and forfeiture of the prize, and an alternate Winner will be selected from remaining eligible entries for the applicable drawing. The Administrator’s failure to enforce any of the terms of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of the provision.
By submitting an entry, each entrant:
(i) releases and grants, the Administrator and its respective officers, directors, stockholders, affiliates, agents, employees, consultants, advertising agencies, representatives, and all others associated with the development and execution of this Contest from and against any and all liability with respect to and in any way arising from this Contest and acceptance and use of any prizes, including, without limitation, liability for any injury, damage, loss, death, expense, accident, delay, inconvenience, or irregularity arising out of or relating to any prize granted under this Contest, even if caused by the negligence of the Contest Administrator;
(ii) consents to use of their name, voice, photographs, testimonials and other likeness and prize information or personal exposition (and any edited portion thereof) for promotional, advertising, publicity and trade purposes in any and all media, now or hereafter known throughout the world in perpetuity by the Administrator without further compensation or notice to, or further consent of, to the entrant to the extent permitted by law. Any person who supplies false information, obtains entries by fraudulent means, or is otherwise determined to be in violation of these rules in an attempt to obtain any prize will forfeit any prize won and will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. All applicable parties, including the Administrator are not responsible for any typographical errors in the printing of these Official Rules, administration of the Contest or in the announcement of the Contest prizes; and
(iii) grants to the Administrator an irrevocable, perpetual, transferable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, display, distribute and prepare derivative works of or other use of any ideas, suggestions, best practices, programs, know how, materials, photographs, videos or other content submitted in this Contest and represents and warrants that they have the right to grant such license and that such license grant does not infringe on the intellectual property rights or other rights of any third parties and entrant further agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless the Administrator for any losses, claims, damages or liability that result from entrant’s submission.
If the Internet portion of the program is not capable of running as planned for any reason, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Administrator which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, or integrity of the Contest, the Administrator reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual believed to have tampered with the entry process, and/or to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest. The Administrator assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries. The Administrator is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, or provider, computer equipment, software, failure of any email to be received by the Administrator on account of technical problems, human error or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to the entrant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in this Contest. The use of automated entry devices is prohibited. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY TAMPER WITH THE CONTEST IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE ADMINISTRATOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES AND OTHER REMEDIES FROM ANY OFFENDER TO THE FULL EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
In the event of a dispute over the identity of an online entrant, the entry will be deemed to have been submitted by the authorized account holder of the email account from which the entry is made. The "authorized account holder" is the natural person to whom an email address is assigned by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address.
The Administrator disclaims all liability for any delays, misdelivery, loss, or failure in the delivery of any items sent by mail, courier, express, electronic transmission, or other delivery method.
To obtain the name of the Winner, available after June 28, 2019, or for a copy of these Official Rules, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope marked “Winners Names” or “Contest Rules” by July 15, 2019, to: Bright Ideas Contest, Money Smart Week c/o the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, 230 South LaSalle Street, Chicago, IL 60604.
